| My Warith Built
This wraith is built to do a bit of everything, crawling, bashing, FoFF...etc, it will be powered by CC Sindewinder SV2 and Team Brood Chaos Type GT 25T or Intensity 19T (for crawling and general bashing) or Traxxas VXL system with 3s 4500MAh Nanotech Lipo. Servo is Hitec HS-7954SH. I Liquid E-tape everywhere cause I like water crossing and mud driving... Spec (front and rear axle): XHD steel locker; Axial HD Diff Gear (standard ratio); Topcad chub, lower link mount, steering link, servo mount, rear lockout; Vanquish Product top link mount; Vp titanium upper link (and lower links and Knuckle as well when i place my next Vp order); TopCAD wheel with stock R35 Ripshaw; Panther Paddle on stock rim; G-Made shock and will be swaping out the Traxxas Bigbore that is on the rig now; MIP drive shaft; RR trans gear; Some pic... After 10 min on dirt, this is how it look now. This thing is fun, I am using Brood Intensity 19T with 19/87 gear, good speed for brushed set up. Things to do: Paint the panel; Hide the battery cable; Put Tamiya Wild Willy Driver on it; Make a cover to hide the batter; Thanks for watching.... |

Can't wait to see it all done up. I just ordered the same shocks to try out, hope they work as good as they look.

Very nice build!!! How do you like the fit and finish of those TopCad products? I have seen them online and there price point is great but worry about fit and finish and durability. Let me know how they are?

Can't comment on durability cause I have not bashed the rig yet... But fit is ok (not great like Vp), everything bolt on easliy. I like the Chub, rear lock out, servo mount and link mount, but not so the steering link and the wheel. The steering link is like $19 or something like that, for about $29, you get Chaotic Crawler Ti one. The topcad one have no adjustment or what so ever, although it was dead set with 0 deg toe in and the tie rod length was right too. Not sure if you use other knuckle other than stock one. The wheel is ok, but the offset could be more and the hardware can be better (M2 bolt that break easily). |

I got the new shock and assembled one only, very long instructions. It is very smooth and does not leak (at the moment), if it is like other Gmade shock I experienced, they should be good. The piggy back adjustment works, but only at the very end of the adjustment. But it does not concern me as I was for the look in the first place. Also there is no pivot ball at the top mounting, instead there is a straight 6mm hole where you can propably use some fuel line or something. Will need to contact G-made on this one..... |
