TopCad is Integy? I'll pass then. The only decent Integy I have ever seen is the hex set with torque wrench handle I have. I doubt they manaufacture it..

Remember...... you always get what you pay for. Cheap + topcad = FAIL I paid 60$ for the MIP shafts and had to only pay for it once..... after breaking that cheap shit twice, then you could've paid for a set of something with quality Last edited by redrokin00XJ; 06-15-2012 at 10:08 PM. |

Personally i love top cad and when my 2 year old Honcho finally brakes something other than drive shafts I'll kit it out in top cad stuff. My Wraith is fully top caded out. Last edited by crazee horse; 06-16-2012 at 03:42 PM. | |

I'm not sure what car it is going in, but the RC4WD Steel Punisher Shaft are tough suckers! If you break one of them I think you should reconsider battery/motor set up. Last edited by Lou-Dog; 07-07-2012 at 03:35 PM. |

MIP all the way, I got them on my slash 4x4 and slammed it into a curb at an angle doing about 40 mph and nothing on them broke, the slash on the other hand well it became a kit build lol.

| Re: bomb proof driveshaft !!!! That looks like a good list of parts. The next weak point is most likely the locker if you haven't upgraded. I've read good things about super 300's for axles, I think they come with their own locker.

I'll have to give the MIP's a go. I managed to make the front and rear stock shafts look like charbroiled twizzlers after only 2 packs with a 17.5 on 3s.

| Re: bomb proof driveshaft !!!! NO....and neither is Integy....but buy it if you like low price as the main feature. As somebody else said they sell re-labelled lathe motors that are good, but stay away from the rest of their junk.

I have the Topcad shafts on my Honcho run ing 3s and they have been rock solid.. I did remove and loctite all the set screws and I even replaced some with cap screws so I could really tighten them down.. NO problems with them at all!! Plus.... They were only $23 for a pair.. Not saying MIP aren't the best.. But on a budget, the TopCad stuff is ok.. I have Integy shafts as well and they had been tortured to no end.. They are very strong too. The Topcad shafts are very different. They are smaller diameter and have a different slider shaft. Plus he Topcad shafts have a retainer ring to hold the crosspin Sent from my highly abused iPhone using Tapatalk |
