Default gearbox mystery piece

when i built my wraith the instructions showed a piece #ax80051 in the gearbox build and i couldnt find that bit anywhere so i left it out.Does anyone know what this bit does?my truck runs great without it

i cant post a pic of the piece i dont have it and its located inside the gearbox but its in the instruction book during the gearbox build

AX80051 is the Dig transmission case according to Axial's parts list.
If your running good without it then you shouldn't worry.

Here... I'll do it for you... Jesus. I assume you mean AX80051-8 cuz if you are running without the tranny case, all your gears would fall out.



It's a little spacer to keep the motor plate flush. Might wanna fix it.

holy cow that number is used for both case halves,the little dig block of thing,the input shaft spacer and a few other bits

It's used for an entire pars tree. Look at the black numbers next to the part #.....

I give up on this thread.

no its the bit in the lower most gear in step 19.the case halves are ax80051-2 that spacer is -8 like you said but the bit im talking about is just ax80051 and it goes between ax30437 the gear and ax30435. not sure where wife put cam or id post a pic im sorry thought u ment a pic of the part

I see. It's another spacer I believe.

If your bottom gear breaks, you can always just upgrade to an RRP one piece anyway!

The spacer isn't needed when using the stock rear output. It's used when you install the optional dig unit. It keeps the dig slider bearing from moving out of position. See thread below for pictures.
