Default vanquish vvd problem

I am running HR lockers and just got some vp vvd's in, worked for a while to get them in and they will not fit, as in my steering nuckles wont line up(vvd shafts are out to far). I took a mic and the vp's have a longer flat surface where they go into the locker, 19 marks on the micrometer. now it looks like they will fit im my Felsenfest Zero slop spools fine. just wondering if anyone knows why this is?

Something is very wrong. My VP shafts get along nicely with HR lockers. I installed them brand new at the same time and it was a perfect fit.

I figured it out, like my micrometer length I took, I took out the diff locker and gear and all that, took off the hubs and nuckles. left the bearings in the axles, slid the vvd's in and they aren't cut to spec, they touch in the center where the locker would be and don't snug up to the bearings on the outside of the axles where the hubs slide on. Their to long, nothing a lil grinding couldn't fix but they look so nice I don't want to do that. I'll take a pic tomorrow and post it before i do anything, gotta work. Thanks
