| mmp waterproofing
i've been looking through waterproofing threads but cant find the info i'm looking for. I have an mmp with the cooling fan on top. when waterproofing it, what do you people usually do for the fan? is that something you need to disconnect or is there a way to waterproof that as well. I was going to just stuff it and my tx in a water tight box but thought of the fan needing air. Suggestions?

I have a Tekin RS and plan on dipping it in CorrosionX! I have seen youtube videos on how awesome this stuff is. Better than liquid electrical tape but you do have to reapply after a period of time if you do get things wet. I have the bottle of CorrosionX just need to take apart the Tekin RS and dip her in for a nice bath!!

I used Corrosion X to water proof my MMP. I didn't do the fan. Didn't hurt it last time it got accidentally submerged.
