Default Losi 13.5T in my Wraith

Wow, I love this !!!

I have a Losi 22 wich I wanted to mod so I bought a Castle Sidewinder SV2 with a 5700kV 4-pole motor so that left me with the 13.5T sensored brushless motor and sensored ESC. That combo made it's way in my Wraith and what a diffrence it makes !!!

I'll have to upgrade the gearing but for now I'm still running the 48p spur and pinion and the nylon gears in the tranny.

I also installed a Savöx SC-1232SG servo and I'm waiting for an external BEC to come in the mail.

13.5 kv rating is different in all the brands. But it ranges anywhere from 1900kv to 4400 or 4800 kv. Just depends on who the motor is made by.
Revtek and Trinity D3.5 have the highest kv rating I believe.

Long run time at any speeds ... wether it's at WOT or at crawl / scale speeds.

The Losi 13.5T is 2750kV ( brushless sensored ) and it comes in the 22, 22T and 22SCT RTR's you can find motor / esc combos on ebay for a good price.

You may not agree with me, but I'm running 6.6 to 1 (60/9 32 pitch). That was on a 13.5 Novak that went to the reaper today for no reason what so ever . It was my back up till the 17.5 Tekin Redline comes back from service...

I'm still running the stock 48p gearing and the 4:1 ratio ( 20 / 80 )

Since I'm only running in snow for now the gears should be able to hold nicely, I'll loosen the slipper a bit if I feel the need to.

If I intend to rock crawl a bit next summer I'll end up upgrading the gears to 32p. For now the 4:1 gearing suits the motor / esc well enough.

Here's a short clip I shot yesterday to test the GoPro mount I installed on the Wraith.

It was cold as hack outside so I decided to shoot from inside the basement
