| Waterproofing?
I did a search and came up with little. What are some steps to waterproofing? I have a creek at my work with some fantastic rocks and formations. Not looking to submerge but would like to know if there is something simple I can do to make trekking it possible. |

Actually one of the best places to find that is on YouTube. There are a bunch of videos. Sent from my HTC POS tablet using Tapatalk 2 |

i decased my electronics and coated everything with several layers of liquid tape. it does get submerged routinely. before that i had just coated the speed controller with aeresol clear undercoating, packed dielectric grease in the unused channels on the Rx, sprayed it with the undercoating, and brushed liquid tape around the outside of the steering servo. that worked well for the splashing around and water that never made it over the hood. my electronics are all in the front under the hood currently

I am trying corrosionX on my ESC's and other stuff too. The youtube videos of this in action are great!! ESC can be fully submerged in water and works fine. Great thing with corrosionX is that it will not leave a thick insulating layer like liquid electrical tape. I do use it too but since finding corrosionX I am hooked. I also don't plan on driving into water on purpose to see if it works 100% or not. Battery and connections why not just use some dielectric grease. You mean like your plugs..aka deans, traxxas..etc. |

| Re: Waterproofing? If it has a sensor that part must be waterproofed. I have to corrossionX my Tekin Redline 13.5T soon. There are videos on how to do it and another thread in here if you search. |
