Default radio box

Is there a larger radio box that will still fit in the same place as the stock box. Mine is to small to accommodate the larger RX as well as the CCbec I want to install. It would be great if there was one available that was longer than the original.

i would plastic dip the ccbec and mount it outside the box or move my electronics to the rear and put the battery up front

I have the RX and my Axial LED controller in the stock electronics box up front. I have the BEC completely waterproofed and stuffed inside a Radio Shack hobby box in the back (protection, plus look). My ESC is also in the back. The leaves the front very neat and tidy, with lots of room for the battery.

Do you have a part number for the Radio Shack hobby box and how do you waterproof the CC 10 amp BEC?

I believe I'm using this one: Project Enclosure (4x2x1) : Project Boxes | RadioShack.com

I just went in and got the smallest one they had. It fits in the back nicely, either long or sideways, depending on what else you have in the back.

As for waterproofing, I used liquid tape on the BEC, so I just brushed it on in a couple of applications, making sure it's all sealed. I basically did what Squirrel recommends: Squirrel - YouTube
