| 55t motor question
I am thinking about trying the Axial 55T motor, anyone have any experience, good or bad with these? Do i need any other specific parts for this motor?

I have been running the 55t axial motor and I like it so far. I am running it with an 87t spur gear and the rest are stock. The tires are the rock crusher which are a little taller than stock.

the 55t is super slow, you would be better off wit a 35t or 45t

Sometimes it don't seem like my 55t is slow enough when crawling. I have another pinion gear that I am going to try. I'm pretty sure it's a 17. We will see how it goes from there

If you want it to go slower let off the throttle. A good quality 35t will provide you with decent speed if you want it, more torque than a crappy axial motor and plenty good low speed control and smoothness for crawling. If it was me I'd look into the Holmes Hobbies torque master.
