More money then it's worth. You'll have to replace every piece of electronics and then the drive train. It's not designed to handle all that power. A 3s is really more then you need. Even then it's a expensive option. But it would be a pretty bad ass wraith.

a 5s would be way too much power for a wraith. a 5s is more for 1/8 scale or larger, and also heavier rcs Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk |

I thought it may be as simple as running a bec for the servo and the esc.

i run 5 and 6s through a turnigy trackstar 150esc and 2100kv motor in my wraith. for 5s i pair a 3s 2200 with a 2s 2200, 6s is two 2200 3s paired together. ill see if i can dig up a vid or two for you of mine on 5 and 6s cant realy tell how fast it is in this vid but i like it. this vid is actualy only 4s. wich os more then enough speed and power for what i mostly do. i ran 4s in scale comp hill climb section today and it did very well. i havent found my 5s vid yet Last edited by evan03; 02-24-2013 at 07:37 PM. |

cool. I thought the power would just tear it apart. seems to handle it pretty well but you're not completely stock though right?

mostly all stock. motor has chewd up all the tranny gears and theyve been replaced with robinson metal gears. also running 32p spur and pinion. i havent broke anything on 2 and 3s with this motor combo, its when i have 4s-6 s on that breaks stuff. i stuffed metal rods inside the drivlines and i have still broke a few even with diy mip mod. what i find coolest about this combo is it does very good trail running and can even crawl fairly decent with its strong drag brake and semi smoothish throttle control. |

Running paddles like that in the sand is definitely not as hard on the truck as if you were running a 5.75" tire on rocks and dirt courses where traction is more aggressive.

Paddles in the dirt is what's breaking stuff. Tires unload with a bunch of wheel speed then hook back up and snap she goes. Haven't broke in with ripsaws or paddles in sand. I'd imagine cut bloggers will break stuff. Stock ripsaws hook up like smooth marbles . I think that's why they don't break stuff
