| Version 3.0 Axial Wraith
I've finally got around to rebuilding the Wraith and I have this in mind... make a serious rockbouncer! I've already purchased: Mamba Max Pro with 6900Kv system Savox SC-1256TG CC BEC Pro Right now I'm looking at swapping out the Wraith transmission for a AX/SCX10 transmission; Less to break and can handle more POWA!!! It looks like I need: AX/SCX10 Trans 32P Traxxas Spur and pinion RRP Gears Super Shafty outdrive extensions: AXIAL 6mm OUTPUTS (Extended) - Super Shafty 6mm Revo Driveshafts (Part numbers and how reliable are they?) Is there anything else I'm missing for the swap? Thanks! Last edited by Lentsnh2012; 02-27-2013 at 09:00 AM. |

is 6900kv a typo? id run a 1230 before the the 1258 but if you already have the 58 then run it. i dont think id go higher then 4000kv you bought the 1258 for this? why? Last edited by evan03; 02-26-2013 at 10:11 PM. |

I'm glad you saw that!!! I bought the wrong servo! Whoops! Well I can put that servo in my JeepSpeed project and then buy the SC-1256TG for the Wraith, if it doesn't work out.

Higher KV doesn't always mean more power. You'll also lose a ton of torque with that high of a KV motor. I'd personally go with a 3300-4000 and keep some of the torque that the 8-10lb Wraith needs. Not to mention it will eat the bearings faster than you can install them, destroy the pinion support bearings and kill the lockers.

The lockers, and axles will be replaced with Vanquish products. Anyway, Can we get this thread back on the Original Question? Thanks. I would like to order everything here soon.
