| NorCal's Wraith on VP/Currie RockJocks...Interior #2
Ive been wanting to do a wraith build for awhile now so one of my buddies hooked me up with this for Christmas. My axles from RPP showed up yesterday along with a bunch of other stuff I had ordered. 1 day shipping is great. After I got off work, I started to put everything together. Startng with the chassis. Added the BGR Stinger front bumper with d-ring mounts and the rear cage. Im sure its going to come apart at sometime during the build but I wanted to see what everything looked like together. Now that I had that out of the way, it was time to start on the front axle. Blasted this one out real quick.... My Parts Breakdown from RPP. VANQUISH Currie Axial Wraith Front Axle Black Vanquish Wraith Steering Knuckles Black Vanquish Products Incision XR-10 Wraith C-HUBS (BLACK ) Axial HEAVY DUTY BEVEL GEAR SET 36T/14T VANQUISH Currie Axial Wraith Rear Axle Black Axial HEAVY DUTY BEVEL GEAR SET 43T/13T I already had the front shafts from the Kit so I didnt feel I needed to upgrade to the Vp ones right off the bat. I was browsing the vendor section and saw the new GripFab "Grip-Lok" Spool. Ordered 2 of those and they were here to Ca from Il in about 3 days. Die-Laughing had em out fast.. GripFab "Grip-Lok" Spool!! Mounted up with my 36/14 HD R&P Goin in the center section... Tubes/Truss/Diff Cover Backside of the housing. Steering Completed front. Detail of the truss. Starting the transmission tomorrow..... Brian Last edited by NorCal 2500HD; 12-01-2014 at 10:07 PM. Reason: title change |

Pictures look great so far! I'm curious to see what you are going to do with the back of the cage that's over the aluminum KOH cage.

Just had a better look at the bgr front pictured here and it looks awesome. Tons better to my eye then the first bgr front.

I debated on wheels for the longest time. I saw these from Motoworx Racing and had to have em. I opted for the 2.2 LE 8 Spoke. Raw center with black rings and hubs. I also ordered a pair of the Scale hubs Jake offers as well. For tires I went with the Pitbulls.
