I'm not sure what trans the ridge uses, but I don't think you'll have a problem, I'm using a AX10/SCX10 trans in my wraith.

This guy used the Crawler Innovations output extensions to make his tranny longer, which is the biggest difference in the Ridge/ Wraith tranny. You could use the Ridge tranny as is, but your rear driveshaft won't be engaged very well. Keep in mind that the Wraith is an inch or more longer.

this is wut i did;

ok got everything put together. besides skid plate axial part numbers axa187 set screws and button head screws were needed. used ax10 tranny and driveshafts didnt meet at all well. i took two female driveshafts and mounted them to both sides and used two spine shafts and took one and cut into two shoving both small halfts down into the female ends so the bigger spine shaft sits in the middle without sliding down into the iether female shafts causing the assembly to come apart. so you need two spine shafts one cut into tw0 bout 1/2" and the other spine shaft cut approx 1" and two females. see here

broke in reedy radon motor water method style with xl5 esc. mounted in wraith then experienced overheating and smelled burnt after the first 2 initial runs after 5 min of run time. let it cool then last run of the day i putted it around climbing thehome made course. stayed cool and lasted the whole batt no serious motor temps. (touchable). weird huh? looked athe motor pinion is spinning counterclock wise diffs are'nt reversed. so thats not overheating it.
