What kind of ESC do you have and what servo? I just had an issue with my Tekin RS and Hitec HS 7955TG servo. I installed a CC BEC and set it to 6V and she seems good to go again!! Before the servo would just seem to quit after about 10-15 mins of full throttle fun. I thought for sure the servo was toast, I took it apart and all the gears were in perfect condition. Put back together and hooked it back up.....wham it worked like nothing was wrong!! With help from here and Hitec I learned I should use the external BEC because the servo draws more current than the Tekin RS can provide. Hope this helps.

Is your servo horn plastic? It might be stripped out if it is. There might not be anything wrong with the servo, just a stripped horn. Just a thought. |

That is why you get a nice aluminum clamping style horn!! Never worry about stripping again!!

Well if it is the RTR Wraith maybe the servo is shot! Otherwise BEC...not sure what else to suggest. Other than buying a new servo to try.

If you have another servo, try it. If it works, your original is done. Or you could use a servo driver as well. What's better than the original? Almost any other electronics is better than what is supplied with a RTR. How much do you want to spend on a servo?
