Default Moving battery

I was going to order a tray to move the battery up front. Who makes the best one?

Why not make your own? Start with cardboard templates and refine them 'til they fit like you want.

why not use the stock battery tray given with the wraith and mod it, doesn take much....slides right into the front end up against the firewall.

You really don't need a tray. you can mod the battery tray that comes in the wraith to work for you. There are tons of pics of it here in.

Or make a plate that is a battery/servo winch mount!

* I didn't make this one, it was purchased, but one could be cut very easily.

I was thinking I could make one...I will have to move the stuff that's up front to the rear I guess? Is there a write up on it somewhere?

Not sure, I just used a Radio Shack project box and moved my receiver to the back and mounted my RX8 under the "speaker box" part of the center console with 2 zip ties. Tucked in really nice, you can't even see it.

I did have to put some extensions in, makes it nice for taking the truck apart without having to solder. I try to have everything on plugs.

I made them from our HotWire plugs, but you can find them at most shops. Most of the servo companies make them.

I just cut my stock one in half basically and secured it with one screw to the OEM electronics plate. I will try to find the link where I listed pics.
