| Canadian vendors or cheap shipping
So I bought my first wraith and I must say I'm extremely pleased with its capabilities. I have already began a list of must haves to make things better. 40t motor and better gearing on on the short list as I will primarily use it for crawling. However, yesterday it decided to spit out a knuckle. And with much reading this is caused primarily by the dog bone axle shafts (poorly designed IMO) so I would like to upgrade to a universal design. This is the one I have chosen (Ax30780 Axial Wraith, Ridgecrest Universal Set). Looks to be a stout and robust design. My issue is not in the price of the parts.. (Anywhere between 30$ and 40$) it's he cost to ship them. So are there any Canadian suppliers/vendors for these parts? Or is there a vendor out there that isn't going to gouge me on shipping to Canada? Thanks. Last edited by Jak flash; 09-06-2013 at 06:55 AM. Reason: Added a bit |

Depending on where you are there are local hooby shops that would normally have that as a stocked item.

Greathobbies.com free shipping in Canada over 100$. You could also try hobby hobby they have a good selection as well, I order from both and the shipping is pretty fast. I would try your local hobby shop first but a lot of the Lhs around me don't stock crawler parts.

Hobby hobby is a Canadian dealer I've used.. Not saying he super cheap. But at least the shipping was free for my order. I bought an Exo kit for $199.. I also like to use Liquid Rc.. They have $0.99 no BS shipping world wide.. I always make sure they're New Hampshire depot has my stuff in stock and it will be at my door in 5-7 days. I live in Nova Scotia.. 0.49$ for ups... That's the cheap part... UPS will ding you at the border and you have to pay brokerage fees. It's BS. I have spoken to the local shop but everything there is order in. But if they can get me the parts within a week I'm good with that. If there is a better one in The Hamilton area I wold love to know. But I'm not interested in driving to TO every time I need something. That's a real PITA. Thanks for all the feedback. It's been great. Some amazing websites there. Out of curiosity. Has anyone used a knuckle from topcad? I'm concerned by the single sheer but are they worth the 15$/pair? |

big boyz in Mississauga will ship to you even if they order it for you. same with johns hobby in Scarborough he ships anywhere and again will order it. he shipped parts to my work cause it was cheaper than going to go get them. both good places.

You get what you pay for when you get cheap parts.
