Question wraith wheel well skirts

I'm trying to make my own inner fenders and enclose the rear cargo area as well. My question is this, is it easier to take some of the cage apart or just trim the pieces until they fit? The material is .020 aluminum and it seems to get stiff the smaller the pieces get.. if somebody has a template or some specs that they would feel like sharing, thanks

yea, I seen that thread and am thinking that will be how I get to the correct size,by using the plastic as a template and the cut out my metal pieces. thanks man.
Did you take any of the cage apart to get the piece up in there for fitting before finial placement?

I suppose I don't understand the need for aluminum. It's not a structural thing or high impact area. All you are doing is cosmetic and keeping dirt and mud out of the interior.

The vinyl school folder solution works great for that, weighs less, and is much easier to work with. The green I used is somewhat translucent, but I just picked up a black one which I will substitute.

Slips under the body panel screws and a small cable tie at the front chassis upright... done deal.
