Default Going to order some links,BlueMonkey or Vanquish?

I just got my wraith and was wanting to put some nice links on it. I made some links for my sons wraith they work good and look pretty decent,But I just dont feel like doing it again
I was looking into buying the entire kit, with steering links as well as upper and lower links. They both look similar and cost the same at $100. Anyone have anything to add why one is better than the other?

I did buy my wraith used and it does have the vanquish pan hard kit installed,im not sure if that makes a difference?

Look at the links from R2j. Nice links and it will save you a little bit of money.

VP on mine as well. Been beating on them for almost 2 years and never had an issue. You'll never have to buy links again. From what I hear Blue Monkey has a great product as well, but I've never actually ran them.

Traxxas Revo pushrods. Traxxas #5319 for the lowers are a perfect fit. They are 8$ a pair and are VERY rugged.

Traxxas #5318 with Jato ends on ONE side and bent to duplicate factory upper link angles is what I use for uppers.

I cannot believe anyone would pay 2x or 3x as much for something that is no stronger and uses the exact same rod ends. It only cost me $32 for complete suspension links if you don't count the Jato rod ends which I had on hand already, that'd be roughly another $8 for a bag of rod ends.

The steering tie rod and drag link I do use VP titanium. THAT I find to be worth the money.

I have 1/4" VP on my wraith, bought them used with no ends but I had Revo ends here, heard good about the other brands, VP does not sell 1/4" and more, I like the look of the 1/4" links myself, I'm not worried about weight my rig is a pig anyways

I have VP 1/4 links. I like how they fill the rod ends. The 3/16 steering rod I have looks funny to me so I looking at getting VP 7MM for the steering just to make it look better.

Not everyone is creative or resourceful or owned a traxxas product. Rocks dont care how much you spent on links. Alot of my wraith is traxxas.

I have nothing against Traxxas,I actually really like them. I could have been "Resourceful" and tracked down all the parts and made some,I just chose not too. I just made a set for my son a couple of months ago and after buying 2 bags of rod ends for a little over $20,then if I buy the push rods from Traxxas or threaded rod and some aluminum tube,I just didnt see that much of a benefit seeing how I would spend $30 bux on a steering link anyway after all that.

The links I used for the lowers are DIRECT drop in. Just need to shave a bit off the skid plate because the links are straight and will bind a little. To do exactly what I did, all that is required besides 4 bags of links at $8 each, is 4 Jato rod ends for the uppers and bend them in a vice. These links come pre assembled with the same rod ends that VP uses.

I have about $60 total for the entire suspension and steering tie rod(which is VP titanium).

It's your money so do with it what you wish.

Yup. I like the Revo pushrods as well.
Nothing against the Vanquish parts, I love their stuff, but I had these pushrods sitting in my parts box so they were free.
