Wraith-Stampede VXL Gearing Swap?

Just noticed that my wraith has 20/80 tooth gearing while my Stampede VXL 2WD has 19/86 tooth gearing. If I put my wraith 80 tooth spur in the pede and the optional 25 tooth pinion in it too and then dump the traxxas gears in the wraith?

I like the way you think but the traxxas spur gear has a built in slipper clutch so it wont exactly work the way you want it to. you can change the gear on the stampede to a faster set up but at some point you'll start getting alot of heat on the motor with the tire size and weight.

Thx, I'm eventually going to go all 32 pitch Robinson racing gears in both. Plus my traxxas isn't in working condition due to slim budget on my wraith.
I'll figure it out but thx again for the time saving note.
