Angry Wraith is locking up?

My wraith was going up a small hill, not steep at all, and as soon i let off the throttle it stopped so hard that the truck leaned forward. I thought 'hmmmmm weird' so i drove off again. When i hit the throttle the opposite happened, it leaned back. I thought 'slipper must be off' then it slowed down rapidly but didn't stop. I tried to take off then heard metal clanking and the truck wouldn't move. I walked up to it and noticed that the pinion was on the ground. So i cut off and try to push it down the hill and it doesn't move. Usually my cars roll down the hill about 10 feet and then stop. its much easier than carrying them and i'm lazy so... I took apart the trans. and their are the gears in perfect shape , no stripping. I re adjust the slipper and still its locked up. while the trans was out i rolled the axles around and it was fine. i took the motor out of the trans and still no movement. put it back together and ran it for 5 min. It was significantly slower and the motor temp was HOT!!! I know the batt is not dead but i cant figure it out. it is driving me craZy.

Only thing you haven't checked is the esc. But not sure why that would effect it while it was off, but worth checking I suppose.

Check the drive line angle. Check the electrical connections on the motor. I've had this happen before and those were my issues. Good luck

Does everything run smooth without the motor installed? Can you turn motor shaft easily by hand?

No, it's the same story without the motor. Bearings I have not checked. +1 to you, greenjk.

Well figured out it was that my slipper had dug itself into the motor plate an ceased the trans. It also destroyed the slipper pad. I see all my money spinning round and round down the toilet.

Part of the hobby. Ya gotta pay to play.

...Perhaps less lazy and more attention to post run maintenance....

I think just making your point about post run maintenance would have been enough...Unless you were trying to be an asshole with the lazy comment....And If that's the case..You achieved your goal....

Ill leave it to him to decide. Feel free to brush up on your reading comprehension skills prior to posting cowardice remarks.

I suspect I struck a nerve in you with the lazy comment since it incited such backlash...hehehe, but I'll sleep well tonight just the same.

MY reading comprehension skills are fine.Your sentence the way it is written makes no sense. .".Perhaps less lazy and more attention"?
who are you talking like that Yoda?LOL Maybe something like Perhaps you should focus more on post run maintenance so things like this don't happen. There that sounds better. As as far as your cowardice and lazy comments aimed toward me.....lol I worked 3 job right out of high school and into collage and for extra cash I fought as a mma fighter for 12 years until I became disabled. So there's no cowardice or laziness here. Only a guy who hates to see other people being put down.Sorry if I offended you but it just gets me when people attack without cause. So I too will sleep well knowing that at least one person has been showed the error of there bullying ways.
