Default Servo steering chassie mount?

Hello everyone

I was thinking about buying the VP Servo steering mount kit, but I did some Google fu and realize that there are a lot of choices out there, and some seems more beefy and different.
So anyone knows each one is the best?

You can't go wrong with Vanquish or Blue Monkey in my opinion.

Make sure you get the vp panhard kit also. Without it the bump steer is so bad the truck is nearly undrivable with a high torque servo. There is a vid on how to install it on youtube, as it doesn't come with directions. I love mine.

I have the VP CMS and panhard kit and love it. I did get a new servo and it did not fit into the bracket though. I was still able to mount it. My old servo fit the bracket no problem. Works perfect and looks great!

I don't own much vp, but this is one of them. Its beefy enough for the beatings I've put it through. As was said be sure and get the panhard setup as well, not sure why its just not a complete kit. A cms requires a panhard imo.

My BlueBird servo didn't fit either, ground down the alum case a bit on each side and it fit just fine.

I'm curious, I see this becoming more and more popular on the scalers......What is the advantage of a CMS over stock except spending money you would otherwise keep in your wallet?

Not being a DB, just trying to learn something new.

Scale looks, and bonus points for scale comps that follow SORRCA rules.

Vp hands down..

Most use it for scale looks,as performance goes its a drawback from the stock 4link setup.

Something else to consider, yes you may lose a tiny bit of travel and articulation by going to a CMS setup, but your steering servo is up out of harms way now and is well protected. I prefer the CMS / panhard setup personally.
