Default transmission dilemma ...chime in

Hey all, needs some advice. here is the story. I bought a used wraith, It had a broken trans output shaft/stub. I ordered a RR one piece lower gear for a wraith. After getting it and researching it appears I have a Scx10 trans. this trans has been fitted with a revo slipper clutch and 32p spur gear. I have mip cvd shafts that came with this set up. Here is the question, would you A. get a wraith trans complete, install RR gears and deal with the slipper later or B. stay with the trans set up and order a RR lower gear.(willl I have problems down the road with the scx10 trans)

Other than the case and rear output the wraith and ax/scx trannies are the same. Get a steel lower gear for an ax/scx and run it.

Not a fan of the one piece rr output(broke many)! Super Shafty all the way!!!
AXIAL 6mm OUTPUT (STUB) - Super Shafty or take a leap to this...

then just abuse it because you want break it!!!

How much power you planning on running?
Brushless on 3s or brushed on 3s (or more s )
If you are going for big power go supershafty & never look back.
I have a RR 1 pc lower on a 35t brushed on 3s & have no issues with strength.

If you don't plan on using DIG in your Wraith, I would just swap it out for a AX/SCX transmission case and get Hot Racing or Robinson Racing gears. You might as well sell that one piece gear garbage.

Super Shafty or Crawler Innovations' output shafts are the way to go. I had the CI output shafts on my Wraith and I beat the snot out of it trying to break them or stretch the metal.

Vanquish housing, HR steel gears, super shafty outputs, top shaft, and ultimate motor plate, RR 32p spur and RR absolute pinion. Running tekin pro4 3300 on 3s and no issues. Expensive, but might as well do it right the first time.

Yes, buy Hot Racing or Axial steel tranny gear set and run it with the tranny you have.

It looks like the outputs are a difrent length. Ax10 needs long outputs to match the wrath trans
