| Crawler innovations foams
I'm looking to run pitbull rock beasts and was wondering what a good all around foam was. I was looking at the double deuce 6.0 foams but I'm not sure what the best outer density to run is. My rig isn't geared for too much top speed so I'm mostly just crawling and driving around.

I just received mine last week. I did get the DD 6.0's with soft for front and med for rear. They work fantastic for crawling and trails.

| Re: Crawler innovations foams Thanks for the feedback! Are you located anywhere near Lexington, KY? I am going down this weekend with my girlfriend so she can see her college friends and was looking for a spot to crawl.

DD. Soft front med rear, great for all ur needs, make sure u get a rims that is easy to clamp down on. When u do this combo it does make the tire large

I went with Med front and Firm rear based on CI recommendations, I did want a bit more stability at speed though. I might order a pair of soft in case I want to swap out now.

I think it depends on the balance of your rig? How heavy is your rig? Mine is front heavy and I will run mine on medium front/rear for trailing/bashing.

They are an excellent all around foam and they are waterproof. They are a stiffer foam but are easy to tune. I found they are very easy to cut/shape with a carbide burr on a die grinder. I run some cut Dueces Wilds in my crawler/basher Wraith and with the way that I cut them they are fairly soft. I am VERY impressed with them. . Last edited by Trugg; 01-14-2014 at 05:16 PM. | |
