Tekin Combo??'s

I'm currently running a Tekin 45THD/Tekin FXR esc combo. I'm looking
to upgrade to a brushless setup and would like to keep a Tekin
motor/esc combo in my wraith.
I'll will be running the Tekin ROC412 3100kv motor, the question I have is
which Tekin esc to go with?? Was leaning towards the RS Gen2, but not
sure if it will be sufficient. Will the RSX , RX8, or RX8 Gen2 be the way
to go with the ROC421 motor??

Either the RS gen 2 or the RX8 will be great. I have been running the RS gen 2 with the 3100 ROC in my heavy 2 speed Wraith on 3s without issue. Having said that my RX8 arrives today and will be replacing it.

I'm running a RX8 Gen 2 and a Gen 1 17.5 redline. It's expensive, but it's well worth it. I constantly run it on 3s and it has great speed and torque on the rocks. I have it geared 87/20 and it's amazing. The esc stays nice and warm, not too hot, and the motor gets pretty warm. I think I run 10* of timing on the motor and 0* on the esc.

I like a ESC that runs cold and a motor just barely over airtemp

Invest in a decent temp gun if temps go above 120 gear down

Trekins own website says you can run the rs with the roc412 motor. This is the combo I run in my 7.5lb wraith on 3s and have had no issues

I've watched ty torture testing on tekins test track a lot of testing goes into theryre products its the end user throwing in the variables

I'm happy with my RX8/3300 pro 4. I got them cheap and I'm happy as could be with them.

I'm looking to pick up a tacon 2650 and a 150 amp hobbywing esc. I figure it should work well since there are a lot around here that have had good luck with them.
