Default Battery Question

How good are the Maddog 30C 5000mAh 7.4v lipos? Should I get one of these or a different lipo?

what are you using these in? and 5000mah lasts me a good 30 min in my trail truck. If your ESC and motor can handle it id recommend 11.1 volt batteries you get a ton more power

I'm running it in my wraith I have the electronics from a hpi savage flux xs so 3S would just make the truck flip over backwards with the power of a 3S that's why I went to a 2S

yeah that should be fine but if your willing to spend the extra money id get MaxAmps batteries. probably the best out there. heres something similar to what you wanted

Hard Case LiPo 5450 2-cell 7.4v Battery Pack, LiPo 5450mah Packs, Lipo-5450HC-74-Pack

I'd rather get 4-5 batteries for $119!
I've been running a Hobby People 4000 for a year and a half. No issues. Also a 2200 Gens Ace no wrorries. Some old Hyperions are doing great that I got 2nd hand.
Just got 2 more 3s 1300 Genc Aces for the XR. Gens Ace are cheap, stateside and popular among racers. I figure if guys are running them in go-fast cars, they ought to hold up in crawlers.
