| I am a weird one! I am keeping my MMP on/off switch.
Hello Folks! I just wanted to share my experience with the on/off switch placement. I didn't think too far ahead when I had the dash out. I was like it will be cool to mount it where the grab bar was on the passenger side!! Then I was putting it back together and was like DOH!! This may not work so well but I have a huge hole in my dash now!! I figured what the heck and dremeled the cage piece. I know if it was a real vehicle this would be stupid but since it is a toy I figured this works! I wanted the on/off switch in case I need to ever re-calibrate and just to be different with the MMP. Thanks for looking. |

Extending the wires wouldnt be a problem. And I think that's a great place to put it. It's out of the way, easily accessable, and wont get hit at random.

Thanks and I plan on actually having the switch on a plug....I know even crazier but I like to be creative as much as possible. Having the switch plugged will make it so I can remove either the MMP or interior at any time without having to cut wires that I extend.

Took about 4 months for my switch to start failing. I run planes and helix and will never ever run a on off switch on them its just one more place for a failure to occur. On my crawler I left it since its on the ground and well the worst that's gonna happen is it shuts off. 4 months later I soldered the switch wires together because the dang switch was failing. KISS Keep it super simple. Only reason I could see maybe wanting a switch is because the battery is never removed from the vehicle. But being as the rigs are planted in the dirt or rocks it doesn't really matter Just do whatever Harley says to do |

Hahaha!! Yeah King Harley! I will do what I like to do and if the switch fails then I will do some soldering.

Yes with ground Rc rigs a switch failing means nothing. In the air it can mean thousands to property as well as threaten lives.

Not having a switch means you will never forget to unplug your LiPo.

I actually mounted my switch under the hood on what would be the radiator support on a 1:1. Made a little mounting plate out of lexan and secured it with zip ties. Works just fine.

I know all the horror stories of others but this is my first Wraith I am leaving a switch in. I did it just to be different. I normally chop them off and do the soldering on the circuit board too. I also knew people would chime in and say remove the switches but as I said I wanted to show something slightly different in case anyone else cared. |

Make sure your ESC is programmed. That if the switch does fail it doesn't run off on you
