Can I change my 20t stock motor to something better keeping my stock esc ?

Sure any brushed motor will work. I think there is a turn limit as far as how low, but off the top of my head I can't remember what it is. I would probably keep it 20 or higher. I was running a 27t holmes motor on 3s with mine just need a bec. I also changed my gearing to something like 16/87. There's a thread Harley did about picking a motor it's at the top of this section,good read if you haven't done so. Sent from my iPad using my finger |

Holmes hobbies motors are good. I've got a 27t sport motor. I run a traxxas 21t 550 titan motor for my scx10 can't complain so far. Its an underrated motor IMO. Run it on 3s all day long with no issues. But I am brushless in my wraith. MMP ESC powering a hobbywing 4000kv 3656sd motor. |
