| Wraith trans case??????
I have been waiting for it to happen for a while and my factory plastic case finally gave out. I need to replace it and was looking around at cases but was wondering what everybody recommends. I am thinking of maybe going with a aluminum case since the first thing to go in the plastic one was the threads and super glue held them in till today and they ripped out and broke part of the case in the process. What cases are recommended by everybody and why? Should I just go back with a plastic case for cost? |

I have had absolutely no issues with the hot racing cases. Im running one now in my wraith, and it holds up to some pretty big power and abuse.

HR lightweight gears and case from Supershafty. But if you are one of those that don't tear the trans out a bunch, plastic works just fine. |

Yah I would go Hot Racing. Its used on the Wraith Bombproof Trans from Super Shafty too so it is a decent quality product. I know a lot of their stuff is cheaper quality than stock plastic stuff but there are a few exceptions, trans case included.

I was trying to figure out the same, but am planning on switching over to the scx10 vanquish case, upgraded gears and longer output shafts (from SS).

| Re: Wraith trans case?????? If you are running enough power to rip up the stock Wraith plastic case, the Axial Dig set won't last very long. It's not up to high power and high abuse.

| Re: Wraith trans case?????? I am running 27t brushed on 3s and 4s. I have had it since right after the wraith came out so thats not bad for a plastic case. I have slowly upgraded A LOT on it and this this case then titanium links will probably be it for the wraith minus what it takes to keep it going and maintenance.
