Default wtaith tire questions

just wanted to get some feedback on tires choices for the wraith .. and see if I was going in the right direction

I trail most of the time with minor rock crawling alone .. most of the time its just small increments in a trail .. but I do enjoy when it does crawl
creeks are a big part of my runs.. not so much mud but mossy rocks and falling tree's and other normal trail stuff

i don't want a million dollars in this thing so i don't want super expensive .

i was looking at the proline beadlock wheels {like 19$ a pair i think} and the tsl super swampers .. i ran this on my scx10 and liked it ok enough

i like the price and foam that comes with them .. but should i go xl{big ones}or regular .. or if there is something along the same line that is recommended more

thanks as always

You've also got Axial wheels. In my opinion they look better than Proline and retails for $20-25 a pair. Proline TSL is a very nice allround tire that will do well in most situations, i run it on both Wraith (2.2)and SCX10 (1.9 XL). Never tried the 2.2 XL, it's fairly new, but I'd buy that if I where to choose now.

the g-made beadlocks are cheap as chips on a-main and don't look to bad

If you have a go fast / bashing side, I would go with steel gmades. The plastics are great for 2s trailing and light crawling, but might not survive a high fall or fast wrong turn or lack there of.

I should be getting my PL TSL XL's for my wraith on thurs/fri. I can mount them up, go for a rip and let you know, I'll be putting them on the axial trail ready IFD stock poison spyder wheels.
