Why am I stuck on a 550 motor ?

This is first and foremost a Wraith question not just a motor Q.

Why am I stuck on wanting a 550-600 brushed motor for the Wraith ?

I want smooth with lots of balls but dirt slinging power/speed. Well about a fast jog.

Would a HH Crawler 13 do that on 2s ? Or will it need 3s ?

I've beeing over the motor section for the wraith many times and so many go with brushless. Fine but I want brushed.

Im on a fixed income so I can't swap motors and lipos like gears so I need to get it close the first time.

Im thinking a 21t 550-600 on 3s would be about right.

For now I have stock gears but will upgrade as it breaks.
Also I have TSL XLs.

And yes ive searched. Just wanting to ask you guys and in the Wraith section .

I am running Holmes 13t with 32P 56/14 gears on 2S and its got plenty of power and is jogging speed I would say... my kids can outrun it if that tells you anything.

I am thinking 3S would be better as I want some more speed.

Thank you for the first hand experience... and that motor is smooth and hows the "grunt" so to say ?
Out perform a 550 motor ?

not sure I have never ran a 550 in a crawler only in boats. I am happy with the 13T.... torque of a 27T with similar speed to a 20T. it can crawl as slow as you can stand to make it move, I had 61/12 gearing and it was so slow but it had loads of torque. I may go back to 56/12 and 3S as 56/12 is maybe 10-12 mph on 2S. Plenty of wheel speed on 2S
