| My new to me Wraith build!
So my local club is having a TTC this summer. I initially entered with my Deadbolt, but pretty quickly realized that to me, making a Wroncho out of the Deadbolt made less sense than just buying a Wraith and building that for the competition. I got this off Duramark in the classifieds here, great seller BTW. It's an Rtr with a waterproofed Timbuk2 |

The Timbuk2 get's alot of hate, but so far mine is fine. It even survived a 3s run when I didn't know it was limited to 2s lol. I'll probably put it in my Deadbolt for my GF to play with. I have a Sidewinder V3 with the 3400 kv 4 pole I may put in here... I know it's not sensored, but I already own it. PLus I'm not much of a "crawler", more of a mud bogging, dune roosting trail runner. That's why the TTC appealed to me. I also plan on a decent servo, CVD's, and links to start. |

Well I pulled the Timbuk2 out and stuck them in the Deadbolt this weekend, cut the cage, not sure where I'm going from here immediately. I've ordered knuckles, steering, trans case, etc... But due to a eBay mixup I have no idea when they'll be here. My next big purchase is probably going to be an Airtronics MT4 and Savox 1230, followed by a MMP and ROC412 |

Ok, spring is in the air, and, I'd like to clear this off my table and run my Savage sometime now that it's decent out. I have the following parts to install this weekend. A HH Crawlmaster Sport 13t Some ESC, I have an AE-2, AE-5, and Castle Sidewinder to choose from Tower Pro MG996 Steering servo STRC Steering linkages. T-maxx driveshafts Hot racing trans case Robinson Racing Idler and bottom gears Duratrax Nitro Evader 32p 56 tooth spur I have a selection of pinions, but either a 12 or 14 I'm guessing VP Knuckles (regular not scale) I already have the Axial Trail Ready Beadlocks and RC4wd IROK's on it. Whenever my McMaster Carr order shows up I'll be making my links from 8-32 Titanium threaded rod and sleeving it with 304 Stainless. Also, I had a huge mixup with ebay, so my Axial CVD's went off on a tangent, I'll be running Dogbones for the time being. At some point I'll want the scale C-Hubs also, but for now the Wraith budget is wiped. I just wanted this typed up today while I'm at PC, pics this weekend lol |

Its been awhile since I've updated this, dug it out of the garage the other day, threw my sidewinder in it and my Bronco body on. Picked up a Hitec 5646WP...i dont have a BEC, so maybe that's it, but it's slow and weak... Anyway, pics! |
