Default Spawn hex adapter problem

The issue if you cannot tell is that the adapter binds on the knuckle. In the rear it binds on the lockouts. Are there special hex adapters for the wraith or what? Can you provide me a link if there are...thanks!

I know it was a stupid question and I was going to say that, but if you didn't have the pin in I would have felt like a dick

Ya, looks like pin depth in the hex adapter is too deep

The Wraith and SCX10 hex are different, but both have a pin depth of about 2mm. Pin depth is either too deep or the bearings are not seated fully in the knuckles and lockouts.

Who's hex are you trying to use? I've got some that are only 1.5mm deep and other that are dead on 5mm, so it can make a difference.

A buddy of mine gave me a set of axial wheels with the better beadlock than stock. He also gave me the adapters he used. He owns 3 scx10's so that is what they are for. The bearing is fully seated I made sure of that when I when through and repacked all the bearing with marine grease.

Standard SCX10 hex should fit the Wraith, but some aftermarket manufacturers will occasionally design their parts fit their other parts instead of the factory components. If your axles are not stock it may be the issue or the hex themselves are just not designed as a direct fit on the stock axle.
