|  Shock question
I seen somewhere a guy had stock scx10 shocks on his wraith so I stole some off one of my scx's, haven't had a chance to run it yet but am wondering if anyone else has done this and how they felt about it?

I ran them for a bit. I liked the ride height and the spring rate but they ended up leaking as bad as my RTR wraith shocks. Teflon tape wasn't enough to seal them (for mine anyway). I picked up another set (well, a couple sets until I got my G Transitions). Sent from my 306SH |

In my experience the SCX10 shocks are poorer than the Wraith's....By a long way. I just run some standard Traxxas XL shocks with Wraith springs. They can be found dirt cheap.

Agreed, my SCX10 shocks didn't last a pack, rebuilt them, they lasted two packs... Replaced with Losi Night Crawler shocks and couldn't be happier. I'll probably do the same on my Wraith. | |
