Default Rear bearing carrier is being ground down by hex

ok so i noticed that my wraith has a lot of axle slop. After looking i noticed the shafts are going to deep into the locker and allowing the hex to grind away the bearing carrier. I think that the problem is this: I have beef tubes inthe axles plus a locker up F.I. locker. I am thinking that grinding down the axle shafts to go thru the beef tubes also has nothing to stop it now from sliding back & forth. I have had this set up for over a year and just noticed this lastnight I am gonna try to tear it apart today.

So after taking it apart everything seems to be good. So I'm gonna lok-title the axle shaft tang into the fi spool. Unless somebody thinks that is a bad idea?

Edit: i have found the issue, it is in the removal of the shoulder on the shaft to allow it to pass thru the beef tube. In doing this there is not enough material there to stop the shaft sliding into the fi spool , so the fix is a new spool with set screws or ditch the beef tubes?

it is not necessary to completely remove the shoulder on the axle shaft....just enough to fit thru the beef tube...i would get another pair of axles and remove just enough of the shoulder to fit thru the beef tubes..I did mine this way and have no issues like you are having.
