| My Wraith, " Mini Me "
I have been wheeling for 35+ years in the 1:1 world. Got myself a Wraith and thought I'd give the 1:10 wheeling world a try. I'll try to list this in some kind of order, forgive me if I start going off in left field. First off let me say I wished I would have gotten a "Kit" instead of a "RTR". I have changed out so much of the "RTR" that it would have been easier and cheaper to have started with a "Kit". Oh well, live and learn I say. On to the parts list as he sits right now (more parts are on the way, LMAO ) AMF Alum Hood and Straight Body Panels Crawler Innovations Electronics Tray (for Battery forward Mod) Team Fast Eddy Bearing Kits Axial Universals Pro-Line Secure-Loc body mounts Hot Racing 100mm Alum internal sprung Air Shocks STR Alum Steering links, Knuckles and Chubs CC BEC's set at 7.2 Savox SA1230SG front Servo Solar D772 rear Servo HH TM Expert 40t 540 Brushed Motor (smmooooth) Axial Trailready Beadlocks w/17mm hubs Advancedmetalfab Alum Diff Protector/Skid Hot Racing Alum Links Stock Tranny with 87/20 (slipper snugged up tight) Axial Light Bar Bobbed Chassis Stock ESC on 2s LiPo RC4WD 4ch Rx/Tx Thanks for looking, have a GREAT 4th of JULY ! Many, Many "THANKS" to Harley and all you folks for doing how to write ups! Helps A lot ! Smitty Last edited by XtrmTJ; 07-04-2015 at 11:59 PM. |

Nice looking Wraith. On a side note the first picture of your TJ was my computer background screen for a long time. Don't remember if I stole it from Pirate or jeep forum. |

Just ordered in 32p 56/11 spur&pinion. Beef Tubes and MIP's. Also picked up another Wraith (used, in great shape). I'm gonna build a "scale" / trail rig out of it. More to come later. Semper Fi Smitty |

How are those HR pneumatic shocks? They look wicked and I'm tired of leaky shocks. Sweet ride by the way (both) |

RaceMod - I have only tested them on a couple runs, they seem to function just fine, they come with 3 different internal springs, soft/med/heavy, I have the Med installed right now, I'm going to install the soft and see how they ride. I'll let you know. tjcj - Thanks, I built Eugene for serious rock crawling, he turned out exactly as I had hoped/planned. I.ve wheeled with some of those fellows on Pirate 4X4. mikl - Thanks Otis Fudpucker - Thanks, I just luv OD Green ! |
