Default CMS Panhard help

Hey guys just finished up another round of mods, the latest was a CMS with Panhard from Vanquish along with Method wheels and Rockbeast2. So during my first test it seems that the amount of steering I did have has significantly decreased, and it seems as though my servo is working way harder and is getting hotter faster than normal a

Some more info the servo is a Hitec 7955tg @6.5v
VP stage 1 kit and links.

Do your steering link and your pan hard link run on the same angle? They need to be parallel to each other. Start there and make sure you are only running a 3 link in the front and that you have removed the right link.

Yes the 4th link is removed, I'll check on the angles and get them to match up and see how it goes.

**EDIT** So i went back and double checked and yes the panhard and cams links are parallel.

Remove the cms and put the servo on the axle.

Problem solved.

Seriously though. Any 1:1 truck with big boy tires has full hydro steering. So a cms is actually less scale.

right i didn't do it for the scale factor, i did it to move up the servo horn a little bit and keep it from getting beat up all the time...im trying to play with the setup a bit and see if i can get it to perform the way i want it, if not then its coming off and getting sold.

Check out the servo dewanger that duuuuude (?) makes. Moves the servo back on the axle and gets the horn behind the tie rod.

I made my own from 1/8" steel. Moved it back as far as possible. Haven't split any servo cases since.

Hmmm maybe post a picture of your setup so we can see what's going on. I run the same setup and I get the full range of steering possible with no issue.

So I did end up changing the Panhard bar to the lowest hole to more closely match the angle of the tie rod and that helped a bunch. But still just a little off, next course of action is to move the tierod to the lowest hole on the servo horn.....now if I could just find my darn drill bit

I have the Vanquish CMS and Vanquish Chubs, axial universal axle shafts, Vanquish Knuckles and Vanqish upper link mounts, all on Vanquish Wraith axle housings....no issues at all and a ridiculous amount of steering angle...looks similar to yours so I am not sure what is going on except I will say I have a longer servo horn than you do which will make a difference..
