Default VP axles hit bolts for shock mounts

Hi all,

I have had some axles sitting and finally decided to put them together and I have an issue: the bolts the go though the alunimun VP axle housing to hold alunimun VP shock mounts to the axle hit the vp version 1 axles. I literally can't put the bolt through as it hits the axle, do I have to grind down the bolts so they don't rub on the axle?

Do I have the wrong axle or need to open the shock bolt holes a little so the screw can be moved a little to not rub?

I feel like I'm missing something silly but don't see it.

Thanks for any pointers.

In case anyone wanted to know its for rear steering on my Wrexo as the front steering is way too limited so I'm going all wheel steering .....

All that's needed is to remove the threads from the bolts and they'll clear. Grind the bolts and install them and then the shafts will slip right by.

Makes sense. Thanks for the quick reply. I will give it a try later this week and post back after.

Thanks WT,

Jon

No problem, it doesn't take much removal to clear.
