| My Wraith and first post!
Hi Guys, Decided it was time to stop lurking and start posting. This is my third RC vehicle and my current winter project. I'm slowly upgrading everything and anything. So far I have added the hardened diff gears, steel gears in the transmission, steal drive train shafts, aluminum steering linkage, and aluminum front knuckles. I'm planning on putting on the proline 5" XL shocks along with a CG lowering kit. Planning on using 10 or 20 wt shock oil. I plan on adjusting the preload so that the suspension droops at least 25%-50%. Currently I've moved the battery under the hood, and moved the reciever box to the rear. I've ran all the cables under the inside body. I also mounted the ESC up front near the battery. Still waiting on my 7" Major Dutch (from Predator) action figure to be the driver. I can't think of a better driver than Arnold Schwarzenegger with one hand on the wheel, and the other on an M16. I'm pretty happy with the stock motor and the stock ESC (axial AE5). I don't want crap loads of power as I'm building a crawler/trailer vehicle. I have a 6S Arrma Kraton if I need to do some ripping around. My other car is a Losi 8eight e 3.0 for the track. Here are the pics! |

Nice truck! You will probably want to add metal links to your upgrade list. I really enjoy my Wraith. Hope you do the same! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Those bead locks that are on there have changeable hubs. Some extended and some are not. Some have hexes and some use just the axle pin. Whatever you decide to run for wheels make sure you have a good nylock nut. There's nothing worse than losing/twisting a pin or spinning a hex and having either ruin the hub because you were too cheap to buy a $0.04 nut. I know. Now I have a sack of maybe 40 in my box.
