New Spawn

So after waiting what seemed like forever I finally got a RTR Spawn. First night tore it apart while waiting on battery to charge. Changed front axle shafts and steering links. Day two moved battery tray to front with the ESC. Moved the radio box to the rear. I then finally decide to wire and run it. Man is this thing fun. Was wanting to know if other RTR Spawn owners are using the third channel and what for? I am very new to this and enjoying every minute.

Lights, or winch, or dig unit, or shift servo for 2spd tranny, or???

Thanks for the reply. Little surprised that with 90 views you were the only post. Guess I am not the only person to read and not post. Didn't get to work on the Spawn much today, but did find enough time to mod the front bumper.

I agree about the 3rd channel. I'm considering using it for 2-speed tranny. You can't use it for lights, it doesn't work. At least not directly. I tried. It's not an on-off channel, it's an in-out. I know, what's the difference right? Obviously there is one, b/c I plugged the lights into mine and it didn't work. Not saying there isn't a way some how to make it work, if there is I'd sure like to know. But out of the box it won't.

I considered switching the Tx/Rx from my SCX10 since its a two channel to the wraith, and the 3 channel over to the SCX10, and putting a winch on it. Since it's my tow-rig. And the wraith is my bouncer/crawler.
