I've seen one of those break through the center of the shaft, I would just stick with MIP or the Axial HD shafts.

I've never had an issue with them on brushed 1.9 trucks. Going on 2 years of use.

That's friggin crazy! What rig and power were you feeding through those?

My dad has them in his SCX10 as well that he was running heavy 2.2s on for a long time. His have gotten a little sloppy, but they've never shattered. He wasn't running big power though.

Junk. And don't try to cut one down, the "spline" (which is just a small flat spot) is only 1/4" long. Had fun welding that back together straight.

I've had good luck with mine on an 8 lbs Wroncho, 2.2's 3s and Holmes 13t crawl master over two years now just oil the joints regularly
