That motor isnt sensored so it will cog at slow speed/ startup... That being said, you can mitigate the cogging to a certain degree by gearing lower...use a pinion around 13t 48p which gives you 6.15:1. I would go no higher than 15t as that gives you a 5:1 ratio on your wraith. I have found the sweet spot gearing for my rigs to be between 5:1 & 6:1

I concur.

I have a bomber with a Roc 412 3100KV. 19T pinion 64T spur. The car was simply to fast for me to crawl with.

The kid blew out 2 caps on an Rs8 gen2 ESC. Replaced ESC with a RS8 gen 3 and installed 2 speed tranny. Car was still to fast.

I finally replaced my pinion with a 12T and this thing is incredible now! ~5:1

5.3 ratio would be very good in crawling and yet still fast enough for bashing.

Also I would like to take this opportunity, to say Sorry for I was wrong posted the irrelevant posts just now. I am so Sorry to all of you here, please forgive me.

You might want to consider switching to 32P from the 48P you currently have. About 60T spur and 11T pinion, 5.45:1. Don't know if the 60T spur is too big in diameter or not. I prefer to stay at 12T or above for 32P pinion gears.
