I have the same issue with my wraith spawn. Was going to ask the same question. Did new axles, bearings, gears, locker, and even shimmed the gearset. Still the same. Maybe this is a normal accepted amount of slop. Seems like a ticking time bomb to me though, wouldn't last 5 minutes in full size like that.

Disconnect the drive line and see how it moves.

It's called slop, and it's pretty normal.

Looks like most of it is coming from the transmission. I've got maaaybe 1/3rd of that amount of play on my Spawn with Axial HD shafts, metal gears and 32p pinion/spur.

That is normal the ar60s have alot of slop in them its alot of work to get rig of it and it dosent do any better once its out each part by itself dosen5 have much slop but each part.aplifies the slop from the other parts so by the time your at 5he tire it seems like alot of slop on my 1:1 scout my d44 dose the same thing when i took it to the guy who built it he sead dont worrie about it so i ran it like that and it never broke even with 400ft lbs of tourque wheelin the snot out of it towing semi through the mud the axle held up the motor on the other hand dident and also gears create heat on a 1:1 our diffs are filled with oil to keep them cool and lubed up our diffs just have a bit of grease that dosent cool anything so being loose helps keep them from melting the plastic housing the gears as they are get hot enuff to soften the plastic enuff for th3 gears to deflect under power so not realy worth fixing run it and enjoy

Try installing an after market spool locker versus the stock Axial unit. I was able to remove quite a bit of slop with Incision spool lockers in my Ar60 axles. Generally, much better tolerances in them. Incision, GripFab, Hot Racing...........any number of choices out there. Again, I went with Incision units and have been very pleased.

The Incision spool has help me a lot to reduce the slop on my Wraith. Worth to try it.
