Wraith 2.2 VVD Vanquish Red Cap keeps sliding off

Hi,

I just installed the VP VVDs & the linkage kid on my Wraith.
After 2min of driving the red cap was sliding back to a point
where the pin underneath did some serious damage.


It only happens on one side. How can I fix the problem?
If I use loctite, i probably would not be able to take off the cap again.

Good morning!
Here is what I would do; I would take a lightweight hammer and ever so slightly deform the red pin retaining ring making it slightly elongated meaning that a tighter friction fit over the shaft will result. And when I say slightly I mean SLIGHTLY. Like a few thousandths of an inch slightly. I know some may say thats not a good idea but I say that if I was stuck out on the trail with my CVD pin causing damage and binding, that's what I would do.

thank you very much for your help.
The hammer idea is actually very good, but I figured I ask VP-Support first. I had already issues with the
VVDs, VP simply put the wrong size in the bag. I did get a replacsment and now everything fits together,
but for the price I paid, the cap should fit without me bringing down the hammer

Never hammer on the parts, It is missing the bearing on the inside of the knuckle, that is what holds the sleeve in place..
