I for one wasn't that impressed with the video much bit after sitting and thinking about it for sometime there is a lot of situations that this will help out in. Just think of a steep off camber vert where you only need 3 wheels to grab to pull but the 4th spins and backwards you go or 1 tire in the rear being in a hole and under cut now you can burn the other 3 into good traction to force it out. I think once people give it a chance and actually put it to the limits it will be something that changes the way we crawl.

I don't think 3 are powered are they? Looks like regular dig but you can freewheel one rear or the other.

3 are POWERED and one is LOCKED.

I doubt a mini servo will be enough power since this is happening AFTER all the reduction. You are going to need a good strong servo to use these.

Watch closer, looks to me like the rear outside wheel has power to it.

If it was not a useful feature for crawling, it would not be used in full size competing. Just like any rig, it may take weight tuning to get the cut brakes to act as you want it. Turning radius can be much tighter than just dig alone when set up correctly.

Certainly something I will be trying out to see if it suits my driving style.

You will be able to burn up steeper hills with the lower rear tire pushing the front end up.
