Sooooo,

not really an tips thread......

but a compilation of all the stuff everywhere that we find, all in one nice place.

Also you can use PVC pipe, to protect the motor.

You can get those bearings cheaper at www.avidrc.com. They're ceramic too.

I've used Boca, Acer, and Avid bearings. I prefer the Avid's over any of them. They last the longest and are the cheapest from what I have found. Next is Boca because that's what my local shops deal in.

Yeah,yeah. I just got the link from this thread. I keep forget about the sites and s#*T. I suffer from sort term memmory. So its one of those things that made me heppy the see the link.

This is a good place for this. I've been cleaning my bodies with a sponge and Pledge furniture polish, I scrub the body rubbing hard with a liberal amount let it dry and buff with a soft cloth or paper towel. I was amazed at how it cleaned and polished a body that's seen hard use.

I paint all my bodies in OD green then wet sand the outside. I like the ultra flat finish look

they are working very well.
