Nope, didnt make his.

I am almost certain we can fit 2-2.5 oz per side. Hopefully more though.

2 to 2.5 oz is about perfect. If everyone is running fully loaded DH's, they only really need a couple more oz. Cant wait to see what you come up with.

I think the idea is to NOT run fully loaded DH's rather run some light wheels and have all or most the weight in the knuckles so you get our wheel speed back.

Ah, I got a shit ton of wheel speed with three slugs in in each front. I am running the Crawler Inovation slugs, that wiegh a 3rd the VP slug do. I am running 55t motors and had more wheel speed then a guy running 35t last night. Yeah he had a 2s lipo, but not as much wieght as me. These XR's have good wheels speed, its just a fact. I think that wiegh on the wheel shouldnt have anything to do with the wheel speed, as much as run time That is my opinion.

The biggest gains that you guys will see is a SERIOUS gain in stabilty (up, down, side) and its easier on parts if you take the weight out of the wheels, a touch more run time and less getting into binds (think support rings in the wheels, without the support ring).

Are you making them for the stock and VP knuckles?

Thank you for posting this. It saves me from looking like in idgit by asking what the benefit is of putting weight on the knuckles.

Yep, thats what I am shooting for.

I know stock plastic can be a problem. It would be real interesting to see somebody run these weights around a stock plastic knuckle and see if it can survive. By putting the weight all the way around it maybe it could eliminate breakage since it can eliminate all the flex? Your stock plastic knuckle basically turns into a huge round brass knuckle.

Still working on them. I dont have 100% of my time to spend on them and also Christmas also throws a kink into the plans. I hope to have something to work with around the first week of Jan and then as soon as I can have some in my hands it should only be a week or two after that I can start shipping. Its an easy part to test and make sure it works right so, there are no real big hold ups due to testing.

Just saw this... wish you would make some for ax-10 VP zero ack knuckles! I'd buy some in a heart beat and I'm sure many others would too. I wanted to buy the ones from felsenfest (sp?) nut by the time I bought all the weights and knuckles it was still not enough weight and too much money.

We will see. Wrong forum but... I am hoping the Berg VP knuckle weight will transfer right over to the AX10 VP knuckle weights.

Default Great Idea!

Eric -
This is a great idea! Saw pictures on Losi thread. Using Vanquish on 1 XR, Stock on the other. Would change hubs to run knuckle weights. You will laugh at this - went to your site to order and couldn't because Flash is required. Grumble, Grumble, I'll have to (for the 1st time), go fire up my laptop that I have stopped using since getting iPad.
Really like your product

Working on them whenever I get the chance.

Still thinking I should have a prototype around the 2/3 week of Jan and if all works out, product in a couple weeks after that.

Add another one to your list for the vp set up for a xr10 when you get them ready.
