I will be able to tell you later. Should be ballpark 2.3oz for just the knuckle weight. Then you can add rings and the large steel ring to add more weight if you can fit it.

And more importantly, which knuckles are they designed to fit, HR, VP or Axial?

Designed to fit the VP knuckles but, stock should be exactly the same. I dont have HR or Axial to check those. I dont know how much different they would be.

I will be super interested to see if they can make a stock plastic knuckle hold up. I have somebody that will test this thoery. It would be awesome to not have to upgrade.

You might be able to prevent this:

But it won't get rid of the flex, and might create a new weak point.

Bear in mind I'm sporting a 7980, but I'm going VP for knuckles, have em, just gotta install em now.

*edit* just noticed the steering arm is mounted differently on the Axial knuckles, it doesn't look like they will fit that design.

Why wouldnt it get rid of the flex?

Edit:

I think youre right, especially on the steering arm side. Its not as well encased as the tie rod side. I didnt know you guys were having issues with that end. I thought it was all on the other side.

Sooner than you think.....

These things were an absolute monster to figure out. I think this is the final version before testing. Hoping to have some shipping out Tuesday (Monday is a holiday). Should be testing as of tomorrow though and product soon to follow.
