Thought i really liked the Sedonas, but went back to the boss claws. A little cut and shave on them and they do work much better than the Sedonas.

Looks great! I'm goin to agree with you on the tire selection... I went from shaved rovers to the Bc's an wasn't really sure I was goin to jump the boat on my rovers, after spending a couple 3 hrs a day with the Bc's an a 1st place finish at the last comp/gtg, I'm sold! I watched other guys with the rovers an dona's an they just stuck to the rocks an much smoother to crawl with when wheel speed is needed. No crazy hopping goin on, just spin an bite. Also what I found was lower wheel speed makes them work great, like on the way into or out of full throttle is when they work best with grip, not full speed spinning.. I was surprised also how well they even worked on smoother rock..
Also digging them panels! It's a good look

Thanks. I cut the roof panel wide enough to cover the top edge of the cf cab for a little extra protection. The hood and roof are just cf decal sheet.

Nice.

I need to send my SWM back for repair, so I am probably down for the year... Unless I buy a third just to have a spare. We'll see if I can get out on the rocks with you yet... lol

Well got a parcel notification today from Mr. postman. I ordered some 3mm threaded inserts from Dr. Frank to make some carbon fiber chassis braces. Stay tuned over the next bit on a teardown/ rebuild and general tidying up of stuff. I also have some Hulksta beef to throw at this puppy!! I'll post some pics as i progress through.
Also happy holidays to all members and vendors (2nd family!!!).
Mark

So..... Question?

Why is everyone ordering these from Dr Frank? I see these things in every hardware store I go into. Are they not that abundant in other areas? Don't get me twisted... Dr Frank is an evil genius and I have not against him. Just curious I guess.

I've looked everywhere here in Canada but can't seem to find them. Also they measure out to fit inside 7mm carbon fiber tube with a little massaging. The tube i have is 5mm id and these inserts are 5.3mm.

Been a while since i posted(damn winter!!) A few little additions. Got my Hulksta axles fitted. Nice work btw. And just ordered a BLS157hv servo. My 7950 crapped out on me. I will send it in to Hitec and use as a back up. Other than will be getting out on the rocks soon. Will post some pics when my new servo gets here.
