Hmm.. You'll get replies going both ways.. I'm running the RC4WD motor cases and gears for ever a year without a failure. It's a delrin case though. So if you want bling, it's VP all the way. You won't hear anything bad about VP other than cost. |

Both are good but the RC4WD includes the motor plate and the VP one is an additional $20.

I've used both. I;m gonna sell my VP cased xr axles and keep the rc4wd ones. Mainly because they are lighter. Neither gave me any issues. I am using the Axial HD motor plates with the rc-wd cases though. And i used the big bearing modded plates with the Vp stuff. You really can't go wrong with either, but the rc4wd is much cheaper. |
