Default sr 300

Hey guys, just finished my build and I'm super pumped. Bound my sr300 to my dx3rpro, programmed the m2 dig, switched the cc bec wire from steering port in receiver to the bind port to make way for the steering servo wire, (didn't have the servo hooked up during the binding process). Now my receiver goes into bind mode whenever it's on...I assume there's no way to make a three channel receiver work with the m2 and a bec is there? Bummer, I guess I'll be waiting for the man in brown....

I can't say it will work for a BEC but I used to run my motor fan off the bind port of my short course truck so it should work in theory.

What you need is one of these

It allows you to power the servo directly off the battery via the BEC, and the esc will power the rx. The servo & BEC both plug into this bypass adapter, and the bypass plugs into the servo port.

Do you have all three wires plugged into the connector on the bec or did you disconnect the middle wire because if you were to do that it could basically act like a bind plug therefore putting it in bind mode. So disconnect the red wires on you speed controls and make sure that all three wires are plugged into the bec connector.

I use the SR300 with a CC BEC in both my crawlers, and I never had any issues like that. On my XR the leads are like:

ch3: Punkdig
ch2: ESC (red wire disconnected at plug)
ch1: Servo
bind: CCbec

Make sure you disconnect the red wire on the ESC lead, other wise both your RX and BEC are feeding it.

Thanks for all the replies. It works fine now. Not sure why it went into bind mode the first time, but it's good to go!!! I set it up as described above, only instead of removing the red wires, I used the supplied wires that have the red wires removed already...nice touch Novak!
